The 'What The Hell Were You Thinking' at the Grammy Awards 2012!

How do some celebrities feel good looking like trash?

This beats me each time I see one. Is it so difficult having a great sense of style? If your stylist is doing this to you, I believe such should be fired.
Watched Fashion Police: The Grammy Awards 2012 Special not long ago because I wasn't able to watch the red carpet show when it aired and I was beyond annoyed, irritated and furious on the choices some celebrities made for the red carpet.
Need we emphasize that it's all about glamour and over-the-top fabulosity at The Grammys? It has been known for years.I'm just going to put up their pictures and names and if you know them, you can tell them not to try such crap again.

Nicki Minaj = STUPID
Lady Gaga = BRUTAL
Sasha Gravida = CRAZY
Bonnie McKee = TASSEL WAR
Robyn = TRASH
Cyndi Lauper = WITCHCRAFT
LaurieAnn Gibson = WRONG
This ain't BoomKack Studio!
Linda Ramone = SOULLESS
MC Lyte = TRASH BAG
Anne V = SLUT
How could you belittle Adam Levine this way? You are fired!

So glammies, do you see why I am this angry?

GlamFashion: The Best of 'Who Wore What' at The Grammy Awards 2012!

Music's biggest night, The Grammys, which took place at the Staples Center, Los Angeles on Sunday, February 12, 2012 brought in the latest fashion trends to the red carpet.

Fashion was beyond elegant at its 54th edition, with lots of high necklines, sequins and edgy cut-outs. Some of the fashionistas decided to make the carpet their runway having adorned pieces straight from the latest collections showcased at recent fashion weeks.

The Grammys are always looked forward to because they are known to see a lot of high fashion and very couture outfits but it seems like there was a memo passed to come out really simple but very edgy.

I bring to you some of the best of 'Who Wore What' to the event.
Kelly Rowland worked it very beautifully in a nude Alberta Ferretti gown with silver floral embroidered bodice. She proved that simple can be the new fabulous. Love the choice of hair style. Very Diana Ross! Her make-up was just right. Love the attention to the eyes and the use of very little jewelry.

Rihanna stunned all in a very edgy and revealing black Giorgio Armani silk custom gown. From the plunging neckline to the high central slit to the 'wowing' open back all the way to the short elegant train, these features all screamed the 'We Found Love' star's very eclectic style.
She topped the look it with a beautiful gold clutch, Christian Louboutin pumps, simple but edgy jewellery and such flawless make-up.
She co-designed it with Giorgio and is currently working on a capsule collection for the designer.

Alicia Keys was epic chic in a black Alexandre Vauthier number straight from the S/S '12 Couture week runway. Highpoint of this piece is the bold gold statement choker. It wasn't just a regular LBD. The padded shoulders gave the entire look an extra oomph which I love.
Not really a fan of the choice of Loubs (which Rihanna also happened to wear but looked a lot better in) because they made her legs look so short and fat. Love the rock & roll inspired hair style. In all, she look absolutely beautiful.

Fergie was another diva who opted for the 'straight from the runway' look but this time in a Jean Paul Gaultier couture neon orange sheer lace gown.
I believe she could have lined this dress but as usual, she decided to come out really bold with a black bra and panties leaving little or nothing to the imagination. Paired with an embellished Judith Leiber clutch and Neil Lane jewellery, she sure rocked it the Fergie way. Way to go!

All hail the queen of country music!
Taylor Swift was tres glam in a Zuhair Murad Fall 2011 Couture gown. This nude number had very fabulous details, from the high neckline, to the sheer bust area, slim waist, the intricate gold beading then the train. This new Taylor-look is very refreshing as she is known for her strapless obsession. Gorge!

Adele! Adele!! Adele!!!
The top winner of the night made her comeback in a black Giorgio Armani sequined gown. She took this look and made it her own. She went for a very covered-up outfit with three-quarter length sleeves and a gorgeously cinched waist. Another high neckline seen. Great finish with the lighter hairdo, diamond-encrusted earrings and bright red lips.

Carrie Underwood was the ice princess at The Grammys.
She sparkled in an all-round silver sequined gown by Gomez-Gracia. This would have been another too easy dress for The Grammys but for the cut-out back. Love the high neckline and long sleeves. Gorgeous hair sweep.

I am beyond proud of Jessie J. Never thought she could leave the crazy behind and be the queen of the red carpet. She looked very glamorous in a fully embellished silver Julien Macdonald bustier gown with a mermaid hemline.
She kept it toned down with very minimal jewellery, high ponytail with blunt bangs and black clutch. Very nice!

Julianne Hough was girly hot in her strapless Kaufman Franco gown with a sheer layer of black with stripes of glitter over a light gray lining. The two-time 'Dancing With the Stars' winner had her dress picked out by famous boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest. She looked pretty in simplicity.

What's your take? Sound off below!

TheGlamOfficial's Top 15 Best Dressed Ladies: The 2012 Golden Globe Awards Edition!

I get uber-excited when the awards seasons approach either in Nigeria or beyond. This is because I get to feed my eyes with fabulous, very well thought-out creations from the very best in fashion.

Kicking off this experience is the 2012 Golden Globe Awards which took place in Beverly Hills, California on January 15, 2012.

The Top 15 on my Best Dressed List (and what they are wearing) are:
1) Dianna Agron in a scarlet Giles Deacon sleeveless gown.
I love this number for 2 reasons:
    - The very eye-popping color and,
    - The work of art as seen. Creative!
It's a very risky try at fashion, rocking such color on a red carpet but she pulled it off brilliantly; not forgetting the simple up-do, lip color and very minimal jewellery.

2) Evan Rachel Wood in a custom midnight green Gucci Première halter neck gown.
I adore the evolution of this dress, from the embroidered plunging neckline which goes all the way into this full skirt of beautiful iridescent feathers.
This is absolutely show-stopping and gorgeous! The make-up is just right. Loving the sleek sweep of her hair and the contrasting lip color. Love!

3) Nicole Kidman in a gold-studded Versace dress.
Need I say more? This is absolutely divine. Oh-my-word! I am completely blown away. Once again, Versace killed it with this formfitting V-strap halter gown. Nic teamed it up well with that healthy looking hair, matching clutch and subtle jewellery. Glam!

4) Claire Danes in a black and white J.Mendel gown.
Looking at this outfit from the front view didn't really get my attention. I was already criticizing the dress because of the bust area which should have been a bit busy considering Claire's bust but looking over the glittered back, I just fell in love.
J.Mendel is one to be really conservative with his designs but still brings out that sophistication in them. Bravo!

5) Emma Stone in Lanvin
I thought by now, this lady would have run out of outfits but she keeps turning heads at every event. What a style star!
I am sure you would agree with me when I say this is one statement of a dress. From the colors (deep plum and raspberry), to the very sexy plunging neckline, to the angled cap sleeves which mirror the lines of the eagle's wings on the belt and of course, that flawless skin. Too fab!

6) Angelina Jolie in Artelier Versace
She never disappoints. She looks absolutely stunning in this satin number. Red is such a great color when infused into an outfit. My high-points of this dress are the lovely red folded neckline, the soft hold at the waist and the uber-sexy slit. Isn't that all about the dress? Jolie!

7) Jessica Chastain in Givenchy
Soft, Chic and it pops!!!
Jess looks beyond glam in this lovely gold belted silhouette. It gives this trim and endearing effect and those beads are just great. Could even work as a bridal gown. Beautiful!

8) Salma Hayek in Gucci
Newly named French knight, Salma is metallic!
Gucci did it again with this futuristic strapless, metal-plated, black sequined gown which embraces her curves very right. It was also made solely for her. Great to be a knight? I thought so too. Loving those curls too. Knightish!

9) Paula Patton in Monique Lhuillier
What exactly should I talk about here? Is it the color, the bodice, the drape or what? This is just gorgeous. I love that she just wore earrings. The marigold color was more than enough jewellery for this Spring 2012 straight-from-the-runway dress. Good one Monique Lhuillier!

10) Lea Michele in Marchesa
I have been pondering on whether this dress should make my top 10. Well, you all see my decision. It's very difficult to neglect such combination - Lea + Marchesa. Such a great match! Lea rocks this icy-grey Marchesa gown and I love that she paired it with a contrasting green ring and the gorgeous smoky eyes. Wow!

11) Frieda Pinto in Prada
Stunning! I am so in love with Frieda. She is sooooo pretty. The SlumDog Millionaire star is divine in this blue, A-line gown. I love the hold at the waist of the dress, which brings out the beauty of the full skirt. Not forgetting that gorgeous gold neck piece. Adorable!

12) Jessica Alba in Gucci
Very soft, subtle and endearing Lavender. She looks very beautiful in this tulle, strapless neckline embroidered gown. I just love the little train which flows all the way from the bodice coupled with the matching clutch. What better accessory than her very handsome hubby, Cash Warren. Voom!

13) Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli
Dayum! Take a look at that structured neckline. Dayum!!! I am in love with this. Great silhouette. Fabulous fit. Right amount of jewellery. Lovely hair. I am stunned. Just one thing, this look is getting too regular for Kate. She dressed similarly for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards but all in all, she looks Cavallicious!

14) Kate Winslet in Jenny Packham
This is very elegant of a top winner at an awards ceremony, ain't it? Yes! She was the top winner at the Golden Globes and she looked perfecto for the role in this two-toned silk JP gown accessorized with a ribbon embellished with Swarovski crystals. Ugghhh! Are you loving that mild but sexy keyhole? Thought so? Kate has actually been on top of her game in recent times. Way to go girl!

I am sure someone is wondering why Sofia Vergara who attended the awards in Vera Wang isn't on this list. Well, I admit she looked great but this list is about ladies who had striking features and accessories to couple their outfits. Moving on!

15) Madonna in Reem Acra
The material girl/mama brought the rock feel to the red carpet in this midnight green, metallic multi-flap gown. The crucifix gave more beauty to/and accentuated the lovely sweetheart neckline. The metallics are just gorgeous. Minimal jewellery was fab. Nice!
There you have it.

The gorgeous women that brought fun to the red carpet at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards with the help of some of the best designers in this game of fashion.
