'Segun Agbede a.k.a. Blaq Smith is a Hip Hop & R&B artist, proudly Nigerian/African.
He got into the music limelight in 2005 through the “Lipton Create Your Style” music competition organized by Unilever Plc. I am sure we all remember.
This music competition attracted votes from all over the country in which he emerged the winner and ever since, he’s been the Lipton Ambassador, Nigeria. He’s been working underground, fine-tuning & grooming himself to come out as a well packaged product and brand.
Mixing his music career with his university education was his challenge but in 2007, he got his BSc in Mechanical Engineering. Blaq-Smith is in his 20's, born in the month of June (Gemini).
Presently he is under his own record firm, Loudhits Entertainment, and his album is to hit stores sooner than you expect. He’s worked with producers like Del-b of Playground Studios, Puffy T. & M-LAKE of Bothwayz Produktionz.
He already released a song "Bolatito" which has been on the lips of people because of its beautiful melody. It is an imaginative story of betrayal.
Now, he is back with a new one titled "My Crib" produced by M-lake of Bothwayz Produktionz .
It is a song that explains the adventurous mind of a man mesmerized by a HOT gal he met at a club. hmmm.
New singles "Damilohun" and "Bolatito Remake" ft. M-Lake are still in the pipeline.
