After a three year hiatus from the music industry following a near fatal car accident in 2009, burgeoning singer, songwriter and entertainer STRINGZ is back in the game with his excellent new single titled “Hangover” for your listening pleasure...
Poised to take over the clubs and dance floors all over Africa in the coming weeks and months, STRINGZ makes a huge splash with “Hangover” which not only superbly samples Lagbaja’s 2000 smash hit “Konko Below” in a refreshing and exciting new way but also beautifully fuses Afrobeats, Jazz, Azonto and Dancehall together to create a monster hit record for 2012!!!
Produced by Pheelz (Hitfactory Studios) and mixed and mastered by Ozzie (Triple Os productions) - who collectively have had the privilege of working with the likes of Olamide, Maye Hunter, 2face Idibia and Darey Art Alade among many huge stars - “Hangover” is an exceptional return-to-form for STRINGZ - who even though sidelined for three years - has not lost any of his star quality and artistic prowess and shows every sign of conquering the African music landscape.

ABOUT STRINGZ
STRINGZ - real name Michael Omoregbee - is one extremely talented up and coming singer, songwriter, performer and entertainer you should keep both eyes on in 2012. The 22-year old music prodigy started on his musical journey as early as the age of ten when he first joined his Church choir. He soon started performing his self-penned songs and “raps” at street gigs, freestyle competitions and late night studio sessions.
It was at these studio sessions - where he would observe more seasoned artists record their songs - that he grew to perfect his own skills and artistic dexterities. This subsequently lead to collaborative work with a flurry of top Nigerian artists and producers such as 9ice, Durella, Remi Aluko, Olamide, Dola Billz, ID Cabasa, OJB Jezreel, Kas, So Sick, Yemi Sax and Bayo's Music (UK) among others. Stringz - who is also the lead singer of a famous group known as Full House Crew - was also one of the first Nigerian artists to work with now famous video director Clarence A. Peters on the music video for their Yemi Sax-produced single “Saileloto”.
After a three year hiatus from music as a result of a near fatal car crash which not only left him in intensive care for up to a year with a broken arm and a fractured skull but also took the life of a dear friend, STRINGZ is back with two stellar singles - “Hangover” and “Umbrella” - and is ready to climb back up to the upper echelons of Nigerian Music where he belongs!
The hugely talented artist who is driven by a strong passion for music and his heart-rending life's experiences is set to radically string music from the root where it has lost its focus and redefine it in a way it has never been felt before. Get ready to be STRINGIFIED by STRINGZ.
