How to ROCK the SMOKY Eye look.
The smoky eye is definitely an attention seeker. You sure wanna bring sexy back, a sexy smoky eye is just the right tool.
Whoever said the smoky eye is just for a night on the town? Pay them no attention! The SMOKY EYE can be rocked anytime, just the volume differs.
Now it's time to show my fellow fashion-forward darlings how to rock it!!!
The smoky eye has always been done with heavy black or charcoal colors but thanks to fashion evolution, colors like purple and deep blue can now be used for that fabulous smoky eye.

Process
A good end result of a smoky eye begins with tweaked and well drawn eye brows. There after you can start:
- by applying an eyeshadow primer to your entire eyelid.
- Pick the lightest shade in your shadow palette and sweep all over your eye.
- Next, apply a slightly darker shade from your lash line to the crease of your eye.
Another secret to a great smoky eye effect is good blending. You must always blend the shades in.
- Then, use your crease brush to gently apply the darkest shade of your palette to your crease.
- A little sparkle can do no harm, so if desired, dab a light amount of sheer shimmer shadow to your brow bone.
- Thereafter, draw a thin line with your eyeliner very close to your lashes. Some might prefer smudging the eyeliner for a smokier look while others will prefer to leave it untouched for a more defined effect.
- Go on to line the inner rims of you lower eyelid.
- Black mascara helps to give the smoky eye effect that extra oomph, so use it.
- For the final look, add the false lashes. This step is great for those with scanty eye lashes.
Note that to smoothen out/liven the smoky eye look, an application of bronzer or pale blush to the cheeks and a nude lip color is essential. You definitely don't want to look like a drag queen.
