EVAEZI IS BACK!!!!!! And she is spotting a new sound off her newly released EP ‘WHISPERS – Love & Other Things’.
The ‘Break Up Song’ is not your typical love song gone wrong but is actually a deep yet comical piece portraying pain and yet confidence during break ups.
The 7-track EP which got released on February 11th, 2012 following a successful pre-valentine’s day mini concert bearing the same title as the EP features 5 songs and 2 Spoken word pieces read by super talented poet Wana ( OAP of Inspiration fm).
The event had the likes of Yinka Davies, Ese Peters, Ibiyemi, Kefee, Gbolahan Odukoya, Wana, Donah and more belting out love songs to the amazement of the audience. The EP which has controversial songs like ‘One Night’, ‘Your Mama’, ‘Somebody Shoulda’, ‘Weight loss’ and Evaezi’s playful and interactive persona shines brightly in this EP and promises to be the start of something fresh and ‘jaw dropping’ in Music.
‘WHISPERS – Love and Other Things’ also happens to be the first out of the WHISPERS series which will run through the year touching on unpopular and socially silent topics.
She is definitely a breath of fresh air to the Nigerian Music Industry with her difference in delivery of her songs and lyrics. Just awesome!
