Season 2 of Nigerian Idol is here!!!!!!!

After a successful first season, which saw Yeka Onka crowned as its debut winner, the second installment promises to be better and more fun, as the show has taken up very interesting people to bring that to reality. 

Former music association president and TV host/producer, Charly Boy, steps on stage this time, as one of the judges, replacing the Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori and would be co-judging with musicians, Yinka Davies and Jeffrey Daniel. 

VJ, Ill Rhymz and the delectable, sultry singer, Tiwa Savage, will be hosting the show. This was revealed at a media & VIP launch on 28 September, 2011 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.

The season kicks off with auditions in four Nigerian cities – Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu and Lagos, where auditions end in November. The second season begins airing 4th December.

The show is produced by the Optima Media Group (O.M.G) and continues to enjoy the sponsorship of Etisalat, in association with Sony and Pepsi.
