Kouture Afrika/Fashion TV

Kouture Afrika aims to ”export African couture to the rest of the world”. The company hopes to achieve this by providing an international platform for African designers to showcase their collections at world fashion events like the London Fashion Week. Kouture Afrika in collaboration with Fashion TV will host FTV parties in Nigeria.

The Kouture Africa FTV parties will consist of a catwalk show featuring five designers and a networking cocktail party. Stars from the film, music and fashion industry, as well as from the corporate and business sectors are expected to attend the event.

The Kouture Afrika Fashion TV Parties will air on the following networks – FTV Channel, NTA Network, Silverbird Television, Channels Television, Lagos Television and DSTV / HiTV. In addition to the TV spots, plans are underway to publish a quarterly Kouture Afrika FTV Mini Magazine. The magazine will consist of 15 pages with interviews and catwalk photos, event sponsor advertorials, fashion related articles, adverts and celebrity guest photos.

Kouture Afrika will be hosting a minimum of four Fashion TV parties and Fashion Entrepreneur workshops in Nigeria quarterly, over the next twelve months. The first event will take place this weekend.
